Join us as we sojourn to Stone Harbor, NJ for a day of paddling in the back bay.
We will gather at the municipal boat ramp at 10 am and begin paddling from Smuggler's Cove south towards the 96th Street Bridge, passing the Stone Harbor Yacht Club and perhaps view a sailboat race along the way! We will then paddle the South Basin, Snug harbor and then on to Shelter Haven Basin where we will take a break. The island Sports Water Park is located in the lagoon and where we will enjoy viewing hte entertainment from our boats.
We will continue our tour south to Sedge Island, taking in all the beauty Stone Harbor has to offer.
After kayaking we will go into town and enjoy a late lunch at one of the local establishments for some much needed food and drink.
Save some time after lunch as there are some wonderful shops to browse before heading home.
